Work
To the right, you see two of my most recent Video Interview Assignment’s. On the left you have my first interview assignment submission, and on the right you have my last submission. Both of them stem from my MEJO 121 Digital Story Telling Class with Peter Doyle. Through these projects I explored communicative, digital, and lighting techniques to achieve the best outcomes for both.
To the left, you have a website I made through the Tar Heels Live platform. This assignment was also from my MEJO 121 Digital Story Telling class with Peter Doyle. I coupled this website with the lefthand side video above. With this assignment I really had to explore my creativity and find ways to best portray Misha’s story via digital platform which you can find linked here.
I wanted to save my most prized project for last.
In my sophomore year of high school, my school went through the tragedy of a school shooting. Following this, I noticed a lack of outside support once we left school to help us overcome this occurrence.
Although it took me a while, during my junior year, I started to grasp my interest in media, and that is when it hit me. I could make a blog. I knew I wanted to create some platform where my peers (and even myself), could go in times of struggle, pain, or frustration. So, when I finally came to terms with where I wanted to take my career, I found an outlet to start through: wix.com.
Here, I made my blog/website called “Minds Matter”, a safe space for anyone to go to hear another individual in similar shoes, ranting and giving motivational advice (hopefully).
To the right you will find a QR code to scan with your camera to reach the site. It is not perfect, but it is definitely something I am beyond proud to have created and continue to maintain.
Lastly, to broaden your perspective on my experiences and engagements, attached you will find my current resume covering my start at UNC to the present.
